Approach to Therapy/Theoretical Orientation

Scott believes that successful counseling requires a healthy, genuine, and respectful relationship between client and therapist and that the counseling process should be collaborative and client-driven.  While his professional orientation is in family systems therapy and he encourages family participation when appropriate, he also understands that one-on-one sessions are preferable for many clients and fully supports individual counseling when desired.

Some of the areas with which he is most experienced include:
bullet Family & Relationship Issues
bullet Sexuality & Sexual Orientation
bullet HIV/AIDS
bullet Addiction & Substance Abuse Issues
bullet Personal Image & Self-Esteem
bullet Social Anxiety
