Qi Gong for Health and Healing
Qi Gong is a system of slow movements, breathing techniques and meditations that
promote self-healing. This is an
ancient Chinese practice that is used to accumulate, cleanse, and refine our
life force. Qi or Chi is the
Chinese word for “life energy.” Gong
or Kung means “work.” Thus, Qi
Gong or Chi Kung means working with the life energy, learning how to control
the flow and distribution of qi to improve the health and harmony of mind and
body. Qi Gong practice has been
referred to as acupuncture without the needles.
By learning to feel and self-regulate the flow of Qi, the body can repair
itself more quickly and easily and the mind can relax and let go of stress and
worry.

Wednesdays, 12:00-1:00 pm at Show Me Yoga Center, $8/class.
Pre-registration is not required, all experience levels are welcome.
